CES Media Day 2023

Jan 04, 2023

Every January, tech innovators from all over the world gather in Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the industry’s annual showcase of the best tech and innovations of the year ahead.

Can’t be there for the big day? Tech Expert, Andrea Smith, reveals the top trends of 2023 and shares sneak peek of the gadgets you can expect to see at CES. She’s got an inside scoop on some of the innovations that tech’s movers and shakers will be featuring at this year’s show!

UltraGear™ OLED Curved Gaming Monitor

This year at CES, LG is introducing the world’s first 45” curved, 240Hz OLED gaming monitor featuring LG OLED picture + UltraGear™ speed. The huge 45” 21:9 monitor, stunning picture quality of LG OLED technology, unprecedented 240Hz refresh rate and .03ms response time allow gamers to immerse themselves in the action.

This monitor is the first LG monitor to combine a 45-inch screen-size with an 800R curvature -- a pairing that helps boost users’ sense of immersion. LG’s Anti-glare & Low Reflection coating reduces distractions so you can keep your head in the game.

LG STUDIO Refrigerator with MoodUP Technology

Designed to meet the evolving needs of tech-savvy home enthusiasts, the new LG STUDIO refrigerator with MoodUP technology delivers unrivaled design and tech with next-level color, music and convenience, allowing users to set the tone in the kitchen whether they’re entertaining a crowd or enjoying a weekday meal.

The new intuitive 21 cu. ft. refrigerator with MoodUP Technology allows users to customize the LED panels by applying unique color themes, such as Season, which uses the tones and hues of nature, and Healing uses soft colors, creating a calming space.

With a built-in Bluetooth speaker, users can match their mood with songs from their favorite streaming apps or playlist. The curated playlist available via the ThinQ app offers 69 tracks across seven themes. Plus, the refrigerator’s panels sync with the music.

This model includes several user-friendly features such as convenient and colorful notifications to make life easier: when the door sensors detect that the fridge or freezer has been left open, the panel on the open door will repeatedly blink – signaling the user to help prevent cold air loss and unnecessary energy consumption. The refrigerator’s motion sensor can detect when someone is approaching, and the LED panels will blink to illuminate the way for late-night snackers.

CarryiOn

Indoor air quality is super important, especially in the winter and during cold and flu season. CarryiOn is a portable ionizing air purifier and surface sanitizer that provides peace of mind wherever you go. It’s a first-of-its-kind innovation using the same technology already available in hospitals, NASA space programs, and Navy submarines to neutralize viruses and contaminants in the air and on surfaces and makes it available for personal use.

CarryiOn works by generating an abundance of positive hydrogen and negative oxygen ions simultaneously. These ions form clusters that act on viruses, bacteria, odors, mold and allergens, eliminating them from the air and surfaces.

Easy to use, it provides a personal zone of clean air and surfaces wherever you go – on airplanes, in your car, in classrooms, etc - just plug into outlet or power bank.

CarryiOn is available for purchase now at carryion.com.
